1. Statue of Liberty

Located on a 12 acre island, the Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States and is a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on October 28, 1886, designated as a National Monument in 1924 and restored for her centennial on July 4, 1986.

2. Empire State Building

The Empire State Building offers many activities and events for families and children to attend. The first and foremost activity is a visit to the Observatory located on the 86th and 102nd floor. Here, visitors can observe spectacular views of New York City and the neighboring states of New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts as well as New York. 7. Staten Island Ferry

The Staten Island Ferry provides 20 million people a year (60,000 passengers a day not including weekend days) with ferry service between St. George on Staten Island and Whitehall Street in lower Manhattan.
From the deck of the ferry you will have a perfect view of The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. You'll see the skyscrapers and bridges of Lower Manhattan receding as you pull away and coming into focus again as you return.
