1. It's a Small World

Climb aboard and glide past nearly 300 brightly costumed dolls and animals as they sing "it's a small world" and dance on the shores of the Seven Seaways water canals that embrace this miniature globe.

Dressed in costumes that represent more than 100 nations, the dolls sing the "it's a small world" song lyrics in 5 languages. Boundaries dissolve and continents are connected by this singular song. After all, this attraction—first designed for the 1964 New York World's Fair—has Walt Disney's personal touch.

2. Space Mountain

Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom theme park features 2 rocket-shaped vehicles consisting of 3 seats per vehicle that blast off from 2 separate tracks. It is the only version of the attraction that contains 2 separate tracks.

The left side track is called the Alpha; the right side track is called the Omega. Both tracks are nearly identical and mirror each other in twists and drops.

The rockets that race through space achieve a maximum speed of 28 miles per hour—but feel much faster in the dark.

4. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

A ride on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad provides mild but wild thrills to those aboard—from big kids and teens to adults not up for the really big thrills found on the other 2 Magic Kingdom "mountain" attractions: Splash Mountain.

But this ain't no kiddie coaster either. Climb aboard, partners, and you'll be warned to "hang onto your hats and glasses 'cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness."

Listen to the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad wheels chug-chug, then ratchet and race across seemingly rickety tracks. Swoop around sweeping turns and tear up rolling hills that dip or drop into canyons and caverns, slip under a booming waterfall or swish through the ribs of a dinosaur skeleton.

The steam whistle blows-another curve is coming up Better hold on!
Height Requirement:
40 inches (102cm) or taller

5. Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger S...

Accept the role of a Junior Space Ranger, board XP-37 space cruisers and blast away at Evil Emperor Zurg's robot minions with laser cannons. Zurg is attempting to steal batteries from helpless toys to power a weapon of ultimate destruction, and Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear is tasked by Star Command to stop him. Now Buzz needs the help of Junior Space Rangers to thwart the Evil Emperor's dastardly plans.

Spin your space cruiser any direction you wish. Every time you hit a target, you're rewarded with fun sounds, special effects, and points are added to your total score. Players can compete with each other for the highest score or try to attain a new personal best. You are even assigned a Star Command rank, based on your performance. The lowest rank is the humble "Space Cadet," but advanced players can challenge themselves to reach the highest rank, "Galactic Hero."

6. Cinderella's Golden Carrousel

Cinderella's Golden Carrousel is an authentic, antique carrousel ride for all ages in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom theme park inspired by the classic Disney film Cinderella.

Climb aboard an ornate carrousel horse and gallop along with Cinderella and her Prince Charming through a whirling backdrop of color and music—including favorite Disney tunes played on an old-fashioned organ.

Built in 1917 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Co., the carrousel first called the Detroit Palace Garden Park home. It was relocated to New Jersey for the Maplewood Olympic Park. Disney Imagineers discovered it and performed an extensive renovation—adding painted scenes from Cinderella and restoring or replacing the horses.

7. Country Bear Jamboree

Country Bear Jamboree is a musical revue performed by a jolly band of backwoods bears in Grizzly Hall theater in Fontierland at Magic Kingdom theme park.

Join the talented cast of 18 musically-inclined bears as they perform continuous 17-minute shows featuring country music-style classics—to the delight of fans big and small. The rustic review is infused with a down-home sensibility that includes plenty of great music, broad humor and a few unexpected surprises.

The show starts when the three stuffed animal heads mounted on the walls—named Buff, Max and Melvin—show more life than might be expected. Grizzly Hall's emcee, Henry, introduces us to a colorful variety of gifted bears who each make an appearance, sing a few songs and display their expertise on a variety of musical instruments. Look for the crowd favorite; a towering mammoth with a soulful heart named, appropriately, Big Al.

8. Donald's Boat

Climb aboard the S.S. Miss Daisy for some kid-sized nautical fun and just try to keep dry! Spin the Captain's Wheel. Pull the ship's whistle to trigger the water spouts on deck. Clang the ship's bell. This grounded boat is a treat for big and little squirts alike.

Be sure to watch out for lily pads that spray and spout streams of water without warning. There's so much fun, you're sure to quack up!

Donald's Boat is located in Mickey's Toontown Fair, a colorful play area between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland designed especially for little ones.

9. Dumbo the Flying Elephant

Hop inside one of 16 delightfully detailed, Dumbo-themed gondolas and take off into the sky above Magic Kingdom theme park to soar with Dumbo as he discovers his ability to fly.

During your aerial adventure around the circus, maneuver the easy-to-handle joystick inside your Dumbo gondola up or down to control just how high—or how low—you want to go.

The popular attraction features jovial circus music, led by a band organ, and includes Dumbo's faithful friend, Timothy Mouse, atop a decorative hot-air balloon at the center of the attraction.

Dumbo The Flying Elephant is inspired by the title character from the 1941 Disney animated motion picture. Now you too can fly like Dumbo!
